Earthquake in Ecuador

Good morning everyone,

As you've likely heard in the news, there was a strong, 7.8 earthquake last night in Ecuador. 

Initial reports say 77 people have been killed and 588 injured. 

Mark Miller spoke with one of World Vision's staff last night who told me there are some buildings down in the town but the ADP is ok. This was the initial update that I received soon after the earthquake struck, so let's continue to pray that the children and families in Santa Ana, the community that Rock Church & EBC support,  remain safe. 

World Vision continues to work in the country & will liaise closely with government  on response.

Update on Ernie Hunt

Erne's toe was removed on Wednesday and he's doing well,no sign of infection so will be sending him home tomorrow. 

Prayer for Ernie Hunt

Please remember Ernie and Cherrie Hunt in your prayers. Ernie had to have his toe removed on Thursday as a result of some medical complications.  We pray restoration of his health and quick healing of his body.

Prayer for Denny den Hollander

John den Hollander called in today for us to pray for his father ...

"Please keep Denny den Hollander in prayer today as he receives the first of five weeks of radiation on his forehead.  Pray that he will respond well to the treatment."

Passing of Nicole Doucette's Aunt

Nicole Doucette's aunt who was suffering with the brain tumor passed away early this morning. 

Please remember her Uncle and their three boys in prayer for peace and comfort.  Let's also cover Nicole and her extended family with God perfect peace.

Prayer Requests this Holy Week 2016

A very good friend of our Rock Church family phoned this week requesting prayer.

Donna Morgan (Evan Morgan's wife), both who attended Rock Church for many years in the early days, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She is requesting for anyone and everyone to pray for her complete healing. She is building a huge network of prayer warriors and is asking that anyone who is a part of our prayer would come into agreement with her.

Our friend, JB Robertson, is in hospital, following a heart attack. We would ask that you would join us in prayer for his full and complete recruit free and for his family as well.

Request from Arlene Marchand

Arlene is asking that we pray for a man named Jean Seibert who lives in Ontario. He is the father-in-law of a close friend of hers. He has suffered a heart attack and is need of a miracle. Neither he nor the family knows the Lord but are asking for prayer, so we're believing with Arlene for the Lord to move within this family and meet them in a real way.
