Condolences to Paul & Darlene Rowe - Update

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Paul & Darlene Rowe on the sudden passing of Paul's sister Emily Peters on January 8th, 2017.  Funeral will be held on February 17th - location to be determined.  His sister was 50 years old - suspected heart attack.  Please pray for peace to be with their family during this difficult time.

Pray for Lorraine Foster - UPDATE

Please remember Lorraine Foster, Michelle Blair and Lynette Bradbury's mother in your prayers. She was very ill over Christmas and hospitalized for a week. Mrs. Foster suffered from Steven Johnson syndrome and is now recovering at home. Continued prayers are appreciated.

- Michelle Blair Flew home with Esther Blair.
UPDATE: Friday, Dec 31
- Es and I spending day with mom.
- I was able to talk to her dr today. Have a better idea of what is going on.
- terrible reaction to drugs, kidneys low functioning but increasing now. So that's good
- she DOES NOT want visitors or CALLS at this time. It take great effort to talk. So, she just needs time.
- if you have any questions or things to pass on, please go through me. Thank you for your understanding.
- I know so many of you are praying. My words can't express how much that means to me. All of the messages and posts touched my heart more than you will ever know. I read them from time to time as they remind me of how blessed I am to have u all a part of my life. I'm sending warm thoughts and blessings back your way. LOVE YOU ALL, a big thank you😍
UPDATE: Jan 1, Sunday
- reaction to medication caused "Steven Johnson syndrome"
- her kidneys are now functioning at a safe level. So that's good.
- she has been off the IV and steroids for almost 48 hours now and she has not regressed. So that's good!
- will take a while for her skin to clear up but I think I am seeing an improvement there.
- she complains if a sore belly so, pray for that.
- also, having an experience like this is not only difficult physically but emotionally too. Pray for that, too
- I know your praying for me too. I appreciate it. I feel the strength from it. Thanks.

UPDATE:
Mom is discharged from the hospital! Getting her settled at home. Will take some time for her skin to get back to normal but she is so much better. I thank God for her dr and his wisdom. Thankful to a God that responds to the prayers of His people. Thankful to all of my fb friends, your words, prayers and concern. Thank you to Harold Moore and Sandra Len Antle for your help and kindness. You are like family. Blessings to you all in this new year. I'm thankful mom is still with us to see this new year. 💕

Prayer request from Heather Handspiker

Heather Handspiker is travelling today be with her mother and her mothers friend who is in need of an urgent spot in the hospital for the removal of his gall bladder.  It is complicated by his COPD and he is very ill.  Please pray for a miracle.

Also, pray for strength for Heather as she is dealing with a cold and is not in feeling well.

Please Pray

Please pray for Gary Harker's sister Sally Briand who has had test that show spots on her lungs.

Also, Josephine's sister-in-law Valerie Landy has been diagnosed with Type 3B lung cancer. Although her report is not looking good Gary & Josephine has asked the church to pray and believe for healing.

Pray for Gary and Josephine as they navigate through this time.

Gary Harker - Update

Gary and Josephine Harker want to send thanks and praise for all the prayers that went out for Gary. He had his surgery on his appendix and everything went well.  He is home recovering now.

Richard Williams

Please keep Richard Williams in your prayers.  He has been diagnosed with esophagus cancer.  He is at home and family is caring for him.  We know that our God is BIG and can do all things.  Pray for peace and strength for Richard and his family.

Update - Gary Harker

Gary is happy to report that his tests have come back - and no cancer was found!  Praise the Lord

He is so grateful for the prayers from the church family.  Please keep praying as he now needs to still have his appendix removed.
