Al Belair in Hospital


Pastor Bruce's father, Al Belair is currently in the hospital and will be in for another week. He would love some visitors! You can locate him on floor 9, room 2 of the Abbey Lane, the geriatric unit.  Please pray for continued healing on his body so he return home soon.

Condolences to Lively Family

Our condolences go out to Dennis Lively and family on the passing of Dennis' brother-in-law Andrej (Andy) Schmiegel.  He was killed on November 4th, 2015 in a single vehicle accident at the age of 60.  Andy was living out west.

Lorne & Trudy Rideout's Extended Family Prayer Request

Today Lorne and Trudy Rideout received the tragic news that Lorne's sister-in-law (brother, David's wife) was killed in an accident yesterday. She was Trudy's first cousin as well. This is shocking news for the whole family. Lorne and Trudy, who were away on a trip, have cut their trip short and are driving home to Halifax today. They will plan for a trip to Newfoundland in the coming days for the funeral. They request prayers for comfort and strength for Lorne's brother and family as well as the entire family.

Condolences to the Jobb familiy

Our condolences go out to Mark Jobb and his family on the passing of his brother Rob Jobb on Sunday, November 8th.

"Mark will I wanted to let you know that this morning Mark's brother, Rob, passed away after a lengthy illness. Mark and his family are doing well; however, we would appreciate your prayers for Rob's wife, Bethany, and their two daughters, Krista and Sheila, as well as Mark, his sister Susan and family, and his parents in the days ahead. There will be a memorial service with a date yet to be determined at which time Mark and his parents will travel to Ontario to be there with the rest of the family."


His family knows God and we pray for His peace to surround them during this difficult time.

"Dave was admitted to hospital yesterday. Several complications. He's very weak physically and has gone down hill quickly. Not going by what we see but focusing on our savour and His promises for Dave.It is in Him that we find rest and everything we need"

Helen MacEachern's Visitation and Funeral Details

Most are aware that our dear friend and sister, Helen Ann MacEachern fought a long battle with cancer and finished that fight on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 7:30 PM. We send our heartfelt condolences to her husband, Doug, her sons Russell and Shawn and their families, her sister, Sally and her family as well as their extended family. We will miss her greatly but we rejoice in knowing that her suffering is over and she is now at peace in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

The family will receive visitors at Rock Church, 222 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville on Tuesday, November 3rd from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the main Sanctuary. They would be honoured if you would join them.

The service in celebration of Helen's life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th at Rock Church, 222 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, at 11:00 AM.

Heartfelt Condolences to Doug MacEachern and family

PWe are saddened today to announce the passing of our dear friend and sister, Helen MacEachern. Last evening around 7:30 PM, Helen finished her fight and crossed into her eternal home. 

She fought well and leaves a legacy of courage, faith, and determination for those who follow her. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
