Our sincere condolences to Shireen Singer and family on the passing of her father this past Monday. 

May the presence of the Holy Spirit comfort each one in their loss. 

Prayer Request for Mel Schrader

The following request was received by email this morning from Emaline Schrader, wife of Mel Schrader.

Family & Friends,

An update on Mel's CT scan. The 6 months treatment for Hep C failed and cancer has returned. He has two cancerous masses--one outside the kidney and one outside the bowel. It appears to be very aggressive and looks like surgery is not an option. An MRI is booked for trying to find where it is coming from and to decide if or what treatment is available.

Please add us to your prayer list and pray for us when we come to mind.

We certainly have proven that the God of the mountain is also the God of the valley and if we didn't have problems we'd never prove that He sure can solve them. Our future is secure in Him.

Praise Report from Kevin and Melanie

Melanie and Kevin Epp traveled to Winnipeg mid July to see Kevin's dad whose health is failing.  They received a report just yesterday that he has had some great treatment at the hospital and he seems to be feeling some improvement.  Pray for Kevin's dad's  health to be restored.

Erik Carloss in hospital

Erik Carloss is in hospital, having recently been diagnosed with cancer in the brain. Let's believe together that he will receive healing. He's currently in the VG, 8A and would welcome visitors. Please keep him in prayer.

Our Condolences to Veena Khosla and family

The Rock Church family offers sincere condolences to Veena and her family on the passing of her brother-in-law, who lives in India. He leaves family to mourn, including Veena's sister and his daughter, who is aged 24. Please keep Veena and her family, who live here in Halifax, in your prayers. Veena finds this particularly hard because she was unable to travel to India to be with him before he passed. Prayer for comfort of the Holy Spirit and His peace are appreciated!

Nicole Doucette - prayer for cousin

Nicole Doucette writes to us ... "My cousin David fell off a ladder yesterday and fractured his c5c6, he also fractured his collar bone and scapula and bruised his lungs.  Prayers for a full recovery."    Let's stand with Nicole and believe for a full recovery from his injuries.
